If you fly Colombian airline Avianca in the near future, you’ll find a lovely magazine full of duty free goodies for sale, designed and edited by us. The feedback is that under Jacober Creative’s art direction it’s the most unique, exciting look the publication has ever had! We came up with the concept of “around the world” as the unifying theme for the different sections that offer perfumes, cosmetics, electronics and more.
We used all sorts of circles in the design to evoke that global idea, with a colorful, eye-catching look incorporating hand drawn typography. We fine tuned the bilingual copy so that it really popped, and ended up with a beautiful publication that’s as enjoyable to leaf through as it is effective as a sales tool for Avianca’s onboard program.
