Logo / Branding / Website
Our clients came to us with the seed of a novel new business concept — a walk-in Botox Bar in a high-traffic Miami shopping center. And while the business plan, product offering, and presiding medical professional had been meticulously strategized, the consumer-facing aspects of the brand name and logo were enigmatic. They wanted a catchy and memorable business name that was franchise-friendly, paired with a millenial-friendly aesthetic that could easily capture the target audience’s interest where they spent most of their free time: Instagram.
After one-too-many video conference calls, we appreciated all too well the impetus to give anyone (but mostly us) a 24/7 smoothing filter. With that in mind, and several brainstorming sessions later, the name “BLUR” surfaced — and stuck. The visual identity mirrored the name both literally and figuratively — we established a pink to seafom green gradient as the point of interest to a striking and monumental logo type. We love exploring different facets of a brand’s application throughout all the brand touchpoints, so we established guidelines for presenting the brand in a variety of formats to suit different uses.
