Who just won three
Neptune Awards for our advertising campaigns for the newly renovated and reopened
Palm Beach Marina? Well, we did, of course! We are taking home the gold – more of a crystal – for best
"Regional-Local Marketing" and
"National Magazine Ads (Series), and received an Honorable Mention for
National Magazine Ads (Spread), from the Marine Marketers of America, the exclusive association for those engaged in marine industry marketing activities, and sponsor of the Awards. Considered the most prestigious awards in the marine industry, this year they honored creative concepts, marketing campaigns and initiatives executed between the timeframe of January through December, 2021.
There were 160 record-breaking entries across 22 different categories this year, so snagging three is
très bien. A whole new look and approach was needed to brand the Marina, leaning on the established, luxury Palm Beach legacy, with a creative forward-facing approach. We created the quintessential “Palm Beach” logo and striking lifestyle print ads showcasing the upscale and elevated ethos of the island community.

We were awarded the contract for the Marina marketing in a competitive RFP in 2020. Our objective for the national magazine ads and regional local marketing initiatives were to rebrand the Marina, reserve the slips, and promote it as a great location – without an actual marina because it was undergoing the renovation. Under the campaign titled, “Anchored in the Heart of Palm Beach,” we focused on the Marina’s unique selling points: the amenity of the Town with a fashion-forward look at signature locations, the upgrades and of course, two iconic superyachts, "The Lady Katherine" and "The Sea Tabby.”

In addition to renting out more than 90% of the slips at the Marina by the first month of the reopening in November 2021, the campaign successfully rebranded the recently renovated facility, launching it for the coming decades as a state-of-the-art, superyacht capacity, coveted luxury destination for international boaters.
