The Jacober Creative team was again selected, as part of a competitive RFP process, to create a new marketing campaign for the City of Lake Worth Beach and its Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). Building on our track record of branding and marketing municipalities and community service organizations up and down the South Florida coast, we went into this project with moxie and great ideas already brewing. The goal would be to attract new investment, enhance the business calculus for the City, and promote the role and services of the CRA.
Before we got to the main enchilada, the CRA asked us to execute a more specialized targeted initiative that would position Lake Worth Beach’s a welcoming downtown restaurant scene as a vibrant, diverse culinary and cultural destination. Our goal was to support local eateries, increase downtown foot traffic that benefits all businesses, strengthen Lake Worth Beach’s economic vitality, burnish Lake Worth Beach’s reputation, and help foster a sense of community in the City.
Jacober Creative proposed a unique and aspirational campaign concept and tagline that would play well across tourism, social media, banners and community outreach – Find Your Flavor, Find It Downtown. Catchy, easy to remember and recognize, with a clear message and “call to action.” We knew this was a perfect fit for this under-the-radar gem of a community
We developed a “360 degree” campaign concept, featuring a captivating tableau of a young woman on a moped riding through Lake Worth Beach with fantastical, oversized cooking ingredients. It is colorful but controlled, implies movement towards the downtown, feels elevated but approachable, and could work well through multiple touchpoints. Our designs both captured the laid-back, small-town, distinctive feel of this oceanside City, while also being aspirational in messaging and style. With a custom font and a fun approach to the design and messaging, Jacober Creative hit a home run with the client, the CRA.
Jacober Creative crafted designs and assets that are being executed for street banners, postcards, table tents, merchant decals, a social media campaign, a website framework for a custom landing page, newsletter templates, paid advertising and public relations. Two of the more unique approaches are wrapping a circuit car that provides fee public transportation, and design and installation of a painted street mural on the side of a downtown building.
The Find Your Flavor, Find It Downtown campaign’s marketing approaches are beautifully designed to spread the word near – getting locals out on the town for a convivial night – and far – attracting visitors from the rest of South Florida and beyond.
