The Friends of Haulover Beach is a new group that brings together regular visitors and first-time guests to the best world-famous clothing optional section of Haulover Beach Park in Miami. They promote positive body acceptance, the naturist life and respect for all, and raise funds to help support Haulover, ensuring that it stays clothing optional for decades to come. They needed a complete branding package, with a logo that could be used digitally and in printed materials, as well as a website that was about to launch.

We created an impactful and fun logo that combined a serif and sans serif font (with a slight 70s undertone), and a cheeky heart symbol that could also be read as a (irreverently) bare derierre. It’s not everyday we get a branding project with the word “love” in it… so we highlighted the four letters l-o-v-e in “Haulover” to emphasize the evocative tone of the community and website. The logo can be separated from the original badge-like symbol to be used for print, apparel and online solutions, sometimes with the upside down heart icon alone, to represent the brand.

We designed their HauloverNudeBeach.com website, with a simple to use navigation, well-written content, and tasteful but fun graphics.
