One of Miami’s marquee, luxury real estate firms, the Jills Zeder Group, an affiliate of Coldwell Banker, has been at the top of sales volume in Florida, with record breaking sales prices for decades. It’s a merger of Jill Eber and Jill Hertzberg’s (collectively known as The Jills) already outstanding family company, with Judy Zeder’s own successful family team. Now that they have joined forces, they wanted to start fresh with new branding, beginning with a new logo that could be used on a range of collateral, and moving on to reformulating brand language and strategies. The new design needed to reflect the familial and multi-generational aspect of the business, and the best of South Florida luxury.
Three stylized palm trees were used as an icon that subtly evoked the three families of the Jills Zeder Group, along with Miami’s upscale tropical elegance. The combination of a narrow sans serif Termina typeface in all caps, and a palette of uniquely named pantone colors Royal Palm Teal, Sea Mint, Rose Gold Foil and Yacht White, gives the logo a modern and sophisticated feel. We produced examples of marketing collateral, from brochures to business cards, that showed how the logo can be used to create a variety of pleasing patterns, and when used with select outdoor photography, a light, Florida feel. In addition, we worked with the team to cultivate a more modern and contemporary feel to their photography and video assets to better reflect the increasing contributions of the younger generation.
