The Jungle Electronic Dance Music festival was launching in 2015 in Hong Kong, and they wanted fresh design concepts that would help brand them as the Asia’s premiere event of its kind. The potent combination of EDM and Chinese culture was sure to be “the beat heard round the world.”
We created some very distinctive custom typography for the main word “jungle” that uses interconnected letters. The “primitivist markings” at the ends of the word give it a true “tribal” vibe, with a deep, dark and compelling look designed to attract world-wide audiences. This unforgettable festival now had an unforgettable contemporary look that could be used on their posters, ads, t-shirts, signage and other collateral.
