A-PAWS NATION
When creating the brand for
Paws Nation, all paws were on deck as we helped a whimsical startup, peddling gourmet dog treats, prepare to launch. Our ears perked up when we heard that the project called for designers, strategists, and copywriters (or, in some cases, team members who wear multiple hats).
Our visual contributions included a playful, beret-clad canine that can be used on its own or combined (e.g., on product packaging) with other pups from our illustrated litter. Our designers’ selection of iconography and templates was complemented by playful taglines from our copywriter (think “In Tasty Treats We Trust”), and our creative service agency was able to speak to the client’s marketing needs by drawing up a custom social-media strategy that would target prospective customers, such as pet parents.
The Town Of Surfside, Florida: “Uptown Beachtown” Campaign
We were honored when the
Town of Surfside contracted us, for a second consecutive year, for “the full package”: that is, virtually all creative-agency services, and those pertaining to marketing, as well. On the imagery front, we provided a range of modern assets that evoked different sides of the “Uptown Beachtown.” These ranged from diptychs highlighting its contrasts (e.g., “Fine-Living”/“Fun-Loving”) to hand-drawn maps and an updated logo (this one channels retro typography and Atlantic waves). Other arenas in which we supported Surfside included social media (we generated content and strategy); budget management; and advertising and photography, as our project scope included concepting and shooting the campaign.
ABAE Hotel
Working with
The Domus Group, South Beach developers, our creative service agency was able to help build a cohesive and indeed immersive guest experience. The hotel at 1215 West Avenue was inspired by state-of-the-art technology, and we communicated this through multimedia nods to cryptography and espionage, such as an abstract typeface calling to mind Christopher Nolan films; brand-identity markers and décor that include elevator signage and room keys; and the name of the property itself, which we came up with. (“ABAE” is our wordsmiths’ cleverly coded take on “1215.”) The brand book and style guide used by the hotel staff were also produced by our team.
Frost Science Reeflorida
When the Frost Museum of Science decided to inaugurate a new educational venue, the
National Florida Coral Reef Center, our full-service agency was the perfect fit for the creative and marketing aspects of the initiative. The role our
creative service agency played is evident throughout the facility as well as venue website; it included not just strategies and internal documents, which shape ReeFLorida’s ongoing communications, but logo design referencing the appearance of the reefs, illustrations in tropical and oceanic tones, playful portmanteaux (such as ReefLECT), and mission and vision statements.
