The Quiet Luxury of Palm Beach
We gave our ongoing client, the
Town of Palm Beach Marina, a whole new marketing campaign this year,
“If You Know, You Know” (#IYKYK). It included a photo and video shoot with models Michael Justin (and his full head of fashionable all-white hair) and Beri Smither (with her captivating “former International Cover Girl” smile), who perfectly embodied the island’s essential chic elegance and grace. Clothed in classic Palm Beach attire by
Carrie Bradshaw’s stylist (And Just Like That) Danny Santiago, we created eye-catching, glamorous-yet-understated visuals that captured the essence of Palm Beach's and the Marina’s…quiet luxury. See full campaign

Where Miami Geeks Out
Are you science-curious (or any orientation you choose)?
Miami’s Frost Museum of Science came back to Jacober Creative, after recently working with us on branding their ReeFlorida project, to take a new look at the museum’s overall marketing approach. The new tagline they chose – from the diverse, creative ones that we offered – is
“It’s Our World, Explore It.” Our designs referenced the three aspects of the museum – planetarium, aquarium, and exhibitions – as well the circular “orbit” used in existing brand assets. We also produced scintillating
photographic and video content that Frost can use for print, digital and broadcast advertising. Science, Miami-style! See full campaign

Shaken, Not Stirred — the Green Mango Martini
At Jacober Creative, we always love a good trend – and creating some swell visual designs to go with them. Our boozy typographic journey with the
Green Mango Martini begins with tequila (sorry James Bond), zesty mango puree and tangy lime juice, then a topping of Costeño chili oil. This it-drink of the summer pushed the limits of traditional mixology and went
beyond the boundaries of ho-hum design. Combining inventive flavors, unexpected twists and attention-grabbing headlines, this cocktail captures the spirit of innovation that also defines our agency. It represents a perfect harmony of old-school and a modern take-another-look-at-us approach. Life is how you design it.
¡Salud! Cin-cin! Cheers!
Hold the Presses!
This year we have been
flexing our PR muscles, earning some great coverage for numerous clients. From
ABC’s Good Morning America to
Forbes Travel, from the
New York Post (trashy, not classy, but a newspaper) to
The New York Times (more our speed), from the
South Florida Business Journal to
Travel & Leisure, we’ve been hitting it out of the press box, so to speak. Jacober Creative is a true full-service, agency – branding, design, marketing and public relations – we’ve got you covered.
#IJBOL
It’s not a Korean word (though it sounds like a few). It’s not a new political movement (though maybe we need one). And it’s not a new boy band (though we still jones for those NSYNC songs).
IJBOL – I Just Burst Out Laughing (pronounced eejbowl) – is actually our kind of internet slang. At Jacober Creative we love both topicality & frivolity and marrying them together.
Our big mouth illustration encompasses both, the acronym words spilling out of that big smile. This world always gives us something to be
eejbolwing about – neologisms meet the internet meet civic derangement, and 2023 ain't quite over yet!
A Map of the Wynwood Stars
Lost in Wynwood? Not a chance!
Unleash your inner explorer (Dora) with our newly redesigned & rewritten
guide and map for the best of Miami’s premier Arts District (we’re their marketing agency of record). #ShopWynwood for artisanal treasures, #BiteIntoWynwood's culinary wonders, #GetYourWynwoodGrooveOn with live music vibes, and embrace the #LiveWorkPlayWynwood lifestyle with contemporary apartments that redefine the neighborhood. We love the
street-art meets pop-art sensibility we embraced for this project – pick up the guide at locations throughout Wynwood.
Madonna Is Still Our Lucky Star
Dear Jacober Creative, our love letter from
Madonna, encapsulates all we do and love about our design work, #BlondeAmbition
meets our creative mission. It’s a humorous homage to Madge, on her big sixty f… oh-we-won’t-go-there. At Jacober, great design (like Madame X) is timeless and always our playground. Check it out
here (it's hilarious).
Up, Up & Away
We’ve been rocking and rolling with the Rock – no not
him, but
the tip of the Iberian peninsula between Spain and Morocco, designing a new logo and branding for the
Gibraltar Aviation Registry (GAR). Small territory, big designs (ours too!), as they build their brand to be the leading one for private and commercial aircraft registration. The logo we designed for them uses a
custom sans serif font (lots of style) that creates an image of a key – as in the key to your jet and the key to your jet’s registration…at GAR.
The Right Way to a Greenway
What’s the right way to brand and promote new public outdoor space? A clever and memorable name & logo of course.
The Underdeck Committee brought us in to give a name to the proposed linear park that would be built under and alongside downtown’s being-raised-up-to-the-sky I-395. The winning
Overtown Miami Greenway (OMG) name we crafted won out. After research and surveying Miami residents about their preferences for how the park should be branded and how a logo should look, we offered up some great options that are still being considered. Construction might move slowly but creative ideas are popping as Miami awaits its
new signature project coming to life.
It’s a Turnbery Holiday
Sleigh bells, reindeer and…well, snow, may not be emblematic of December in South Florida, but hey bro, it’s still the holidays,
Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza and more. When
Turnberry Associates wanted a refresh for their festivities, they came to Jacober Creative for new branding concepts, logo and design assets (what’s in your stocking?). They are making use of some of our
chic and oh-so-clever illustrations, building on our great catchphrases, like
Holiday Harmony, Holiday Sparkle, and, naturally,
It’s A Wrap.
Rock the Casbah
Who doesn't love a
big 60th birthday blowout, especially when it involves a trip with besties to
Marrakesh? Jacober Creative had to make do without our illustrious (and illustration-savvy) leader as he embarked on a Moroccan journey to blow out the candles (and light up a few) for
starchitect extraordinaire Rene Gonzalez. There were hot air balloons, desert nights, elegant dinners, design & history (with a bit of mystery) tours, and of course, lots of rocking the casbah. And the whole package was
tied together with clever designs that we created for the invites, the “passports,” the tote-bags and more, that captured the sinewy,
North African art & culture of this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Day of the Locust Projects
Miami’s twenty-five-year-old, arts incubator,
Locust Projects, supports visual artists with exhibition space, individual assistance and a range of public programming (our own fearless leader Paul Jacober serves on this non-profit’s Board). They are all about taking risks and pushing boundaries (as are we), so when Locust wanted a new logo to rebrand themselves in their new, expanded HQ, we came up with some great ideas. The concept that wowed and is being used is the
stylized, fluid “L” & “P” – a dramatic and memorable icon that pairs beautifully with their full-name sans serif nameplate and tagline “Art Happens Here.” Here’s to branding Locust Project’s next 25 years!
