WMC at Faena Forum
Music, Technology, Education, Culture. Winter Music Conference is taking the corporate route this year with a packed schedule of workshops, panel discussions and featured speakers, all held in the acoustically outstanding Faena Forum (designed by Rem Koolhass studio OMA, one of our faves). The talent list includes a wide range of professionals including Irvine Welsh, the writer of Trainspotting; the amazing Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren; and Dr. Douglas Rushkoff, named one of the “world’s ten most influential intellectuals” by MIT (we’re not quite sure about his connection to music but we’ll go with it).
Monday, March 25th – Thursday, March 28th
Faena Forum, 3300-3398 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach

P.S. – Next door is the Faena Bazaar, the newly opened retail mecca that has plenty of places to purchase over-the-top MMW attire or something spicy for a night on a dance floor (for both the girls and the boys)
Flashback with Louie Vega & Friends
While Wynwood is not necessarily our go-to night-out neighb, we wouldn’t miss Louie Vega’s Flashback at the Wynwood Yard. Steps away from the Rubell Collection, the outdoor space blends perfectly with Vega’s easy Nuyorican Soul. It’s deep house at its best starting late afternoon till early Sunday morning. He’s New York, he’s old school (millennials welcomed) – and always worth the trip.
Saturday, March 30th, 4pm - 3am
Wynwood Yard, 56 NW 29th Street, Miami

Last Hurrah at the Electric Pickle
A little bit of Miami history is closing this spring. But before that happens, head to the Electric Pickle on Friday of MMW for an epic night of EFunk with Soul Clap, Felix da Housecat, and Mija. The Miami mainstay is going out with a bang, so don’t be that person with FOMO who’s left in the disco dust.

3 Spots to Recharge:
All Day Cafe
If you find yourself stumbling out of Space at 8am in the morning, head west to All Day for a jolt and a rock-your-world good breakfast sammy. A mix of club kids, late-shift Eleven strip club employees and early-morning weekend warriors, the Saturday start-the-day crowd is unlike any other. Order a cafecito and a guava donut, and smile knowing there’s no shade thrown here if you’re still wearing Friday night’s get up.

Joe and The Juice
The energetic young guys who staff Joe and The Juice are rugged, hot and hard working. All things we like! The millennial-pink juice spot is inside the ABAE Hotel whose logo we designed. It has the vibrancy and fun feel of a bar (cue house music) but serves up your pick of juices like Hangover Heaven (apple, elderflower, mint), Go Away Doc (carrot, apple, ginger) and Sex Me Up (passion fruit, apple, ginger). Stop in to power through MMW, between pool parties, and stay for a minute – the eye candy is worth it.

Planta Miami
Book a reservation here stat, for you and your posse. Owned by Liv and Story founder David Grutman, this sleek South Beach hot spot is the place for plant-based, vegan food with a side of a celebrity sighting. Pharrell Williams, DJ Khaled, Afrojack and models Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid have all been spotted here where the scene at 11pm makes for a smooth transition into that night’s party. And as Grutman says, “You'll probably see a star, you’ll eat like a star, but you'll also be treated like a star.” Who doesn’t love that?
