WMC at Faena Forum
Music, Technology, Education, Culture. Winter Music Conference is taking the corporate route this year with a packed schedule of workshops, panel discussions and featured speakers, all held in the acoustically outstanding Faena Forum (designed by Rem Koolhass studio OMA, one of our faves). The talent list includes a wide range of professionals including Irvine Welsh, the writer of Trainspotting; the amazing Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren; and Dr. Douglas Rushkoff, named one of the “world’s ten most influential intellectuals” by MIT (we’re not quite sure about his connection to music but we’ll go with it).
Monday, March 25th – Thursday, March 28th
Faena Forum, 3300-3398 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach
P.S. – Next door is the Faena Bazaar, the newly opened retail mecca that has plenty of places to purchase over-the-top MMW attire or something spicy for a night on a dance floor (for both the girls and the boys)
Flashback with Louie Vega & Friends
While Wynwood is not necessarily our go-to night-out neighb, we wouldn’t miss Louie Vega’s Flashback at the Wynwood Yard. Steps away from the Rubell Collection, the outdoor space blends perfectly with Vega’s easy Nuyorican Soul. It’s deep house at its best starting late afternoon till early Sunday morning. He’s New York, he’s old school (millennials welcomed) – and always worth the trip.
Saturday, March 30th, 4pm - 3am
Wynwood Yard, 56 NW 29th Street, Miami
Sounds of the Ocean
The ultimate Music Week experience – a cruise on Miami’s sparkling turquoise waters, hot sounds blaring, and booties shaking. Magnetic Groove will host several parties on the Biscayne Lady yacht, giving people lots of options to shout the lyrics “I’m on a boat” and then hashtag it for the ‘gram. Sail the Miami waters at sunset with Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, and Yotto and enjoy the freedom and joy that only being on the seas can bring.
6 nights, Tuesday, March 21st - March 26th, various times
Biscayne Lady Yacht
401 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami (behind Hard Rock at Bayside)
Last Hurrah at the Electric Pickle
A little bit of Miami history is closing this spring. But before that happens, head to the Electric Pickle on Friday of MMW for an epic night of EFunk with Soul Clap, Felix da Housecat, and Mija. The Miami mainstay is going out with a bang, so don’t be that person with FOMO who’s left in the disco dust.
Friday, March 29th
Electric Pickle, 2826 N Miami Avenue, Miami
Do Not Sit on the Furniture, MMW Edition
We’re suckers for this place – great music, stellar grooves, intimate space and it’s close to home (if you live on the Beach). The cozy Do Not Sit on the Furniture has something happening every night of the week including Bamboleo with Sebastian Ledher, Neverdogs and sexy international sounds from Rafa Mattos that will keep you dancing all night under the coolest disco shark in town.
Saturday, March 30th
Do Not Sit on the Furniture, 423 16th Street, Miami Beach
Space Yacht Miami
The infamous events collective Space Yacht is making its return to Miami this year at a yet-to-be-announced warehouse location in Wynwood. Known for their cutting-edge lineups with a side of late-night pizza, the one-night only party is one of the most hotly anticipated of Winter Music Conference.
Thursday, March 28th
DiskoLab Pool Parties
Our friends at DiskoLab are partying all week long with events at Mana Wynwood, the Spinnin Hotel and pool parties at the forever chic Delano that we’re most enthusiastic about. We’re following the roving shindig with special shout outs for Wednesday’s DiskoLab Catch & Release with Eli Brown, Martin Ikin and Mele; and the super chill vibes of Friday’s All Day I Dream, both at the Delano Beach Club. Be kind and unwind.
Wednesday, March 27th & Friday March 29th
Delano Hotel, 1685 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach
The Standard Spa Miami Music Week
It’s not a festival week in Miami Beach without a visit to The Standard. Soak up blissed-out sunsets with Dave Sol at Sunset Sessions and get down at Vinyl Social Club’s Selectors Showcase, for a delicious spin of the best in vinyl. On Sunday, after the parties are over and you’re fighting the hangover, wind down and tune out at Lazy Sunday BBQ with Soul Clap. It’s the best way to end an exhausting week of livin’ your best life.
The Standard, 40 Island Avenue, Miami Beach
Home Sweet Home
House music. Garage Classics. Rare grooves. What more could anyone want? HOME with Rich Medina, Djinji Brown, Kenny Dope, and Ron Trent are mixing things up Thursday night at racket. Doors might open at 9 pm — but with House DJ’s like this, we’re sure you’ll be seeing the sunrise.
Thursday, March 28th
Racket, 150 Northwest 24th Street, Miami
Vampire Disco with Horse Meat Disco. Literally the best tried and tested underground disco anywhere. Enough said.

Ultra Music Festival
OK, so we had to include this because let’s face it, it’s the BIG event. If you want the festival experience (and you’re age appropriate — 35 or under please), come out to hear Yousef, Van Duo, Eric Powell and Elephante, just some of the names on the roster this year. Moving for the first time this year to the Miami Marine Stadium and Virginia Key (on the way to Key Biscayne), Ultra promises an epic non-stop party atmosphere; for three days in a row. Stay hydrated people.

Virginia Key Beach Park, 4020 Virginia Beach Drive, Miami
Miami Marine Stadium, 3501 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami
3 Spots to Recharge:
All Day Cafe
If you find yourself stumbling out of Space at 8am in the morning, head west to All Day for a jolt and a rock-your-world good breakfast sammy. A mix of club kids, late-shift Eleven strip club employees and early-morning weekend warriors, the Saturday start-the-day crowd is unlike any other. Order a cafecito and a guava donut, and smile knowing there’s no shade thrown here if you’re still wearing Friday night’s get up.
1035 North Miami Avenue, Miami
Joe and The Juice
The energetic young guys who staff Joe and The Juice are rugged, hot and hard working. All things we like! The millennial-pink juice spot is inside the ABAE Hotel whose logo we designed. It has the vibrancy and fun feel of a bar (cue house music) but serves up your pick of juices like Hangover Heaven (apple, elderflower, mint), Go Away Doc (carrot, apple, ginger) and Sex Me Up (passion fruit, apple, ginger). Stop in to power through MMW, between pool parties, and stay for a minute – the eye candy is worth it.
1215 West Avenue, Miami Beach
Book a reservation here stat, for you and your posse. Owned by Liv and Story founder David Grutman, this sleek South Beach hot spot is the place for plant-based, vegan food with a side of a celebrity sighting. Pharrell Williams, DJ Khaled, Afrojack and models Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid have all been spotted here where the scene at 11pm makes for a smooth transition into that night’s party. And as Grutman says, “You'll probably see a star, you’ll eat like a star, but you'll also be treated like a star.” Who doesn’t love that?
