In these turbulent times, we could all use some of the unity and one-world outlook that the Olympics can provide. The Summer Games are coming up soon, and we wanted to do something fun (and funny) to honor the international athletes who will be competing this year in Rio de Janeiro. Our original Olympic icons, “Round In Rio,” get into the spirit of things, with their circle-based bodies inspired by the globe-spanning event itself – it’s a kind of playful reverse image of those sinewy worked out physiques. They are colorful, summery and invoke individual sports such as diving, track, weight lifting and more. We’ll be posting them on Instagram (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) from now up until the Games start, plus special animated GIFs on Facebook.
